Emma Thompson has spoken out towards Harvey Weinstein branding him a “sexual predator” and a bully amid the sexual abuse scandal surrounding the Hollywood magnate.
The Oscar-winning actress in comparison Weinstein to Jimmy Saville and described his movements as a “crisis of extreme masculinity” right through an interview with BBC‘s Newsnight. She printed that there have been “a conspiracy of silence” round Weinstein and different tough males in Hollywood, leading to “a million missed opportunities to call this man out on his disgusting behaviour”.

This is about our system’s imbalances, our system’s gender crisis… Naturally vulnerable people are going to continue to be preyed upon, whether Harvey Weinstein goes to jail or not.”
Weinstein, 65, has denied all allegations made towards him in final week’s New York Times exposé.
