Fourteen girls who’ve survived breast cancer are starring in a photograph marketing campaign to proudly display their mastectomy scars, and make it transparent that we will be able to be beautiful and horny with, or with out, breasts.
The ‘Mastectomy’ undertaking, from Cancer Research UK and Channel four’s joint Stand Up To Cancer fundraising marketing campaign, has introduced as a part of Breast Cancer Awareness month this October.
Photographer Ami Barwell used to be impressed to do the undertaking after her mom Sue’s own reviews with breast cancer throughout 20 years.
“It was absolutely devastating when my Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. I wanted to shoot this project to raise awareness and show the defiance of women who remain equally as beautiful without breasts,” Amy mentioned.
“Stand Up To Cancer is about bringing people together to rebel and rise up against cancer. The photographs show that, despite what they’ve been through, these women are empowered.”
Londoner Gillian Trimm, 55, had a double mastectomy after her analysis in 2015 and mentioned: “I wanted to take part not only to show other people that you can still be sexy and beautiful after a mastectomy but also to celebrate my own journey and to remind myself how strong I am.”
